I was out with friends about 6 months ago and had a bit too much to drink and ended up in a car accident. I have never been in trouble with the law before and this was a very scary thing for me, especially since I work on a governmental job and having that on my record could be detrimental to my career. Mr. Pilato understood my predicament and him and the investigator he work with was able to throughly investigate the situation and also brought several experts witnesses to testify during the trial. Long story short he was able to get me an acquittal. Also, he is available at all times and made sure I understood everything that was going on throughout the whole process. I used Lou Pilato with some help I needed. He was extremely professional and was able to help me with what I needed. I was surprised that Lou finalized everything way earlier than I expected. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system varies, depending on both the case and the client, from charging a flat rate for the representation to changing by the hour. In either event, the fee is for my services and naturally all additional expenses are extra.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. Not only is that required by the Bar Assn but it is also necessary to stay one step ahead of everyone else in the profession.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved the filed of law and continue to have that same emotion today even after 30 years.
