Introduction: I specialize in therapy for children. My office is set up as a play room with sand trays, an entire wall of miniature figures, art materials, dress up clothes, puppets, therapy games like Stop that Angry Thought, as well as dolls and dollhouses. I understand the world of children and work at their level to help them learn new ways of thinking and coping that are healthier. I am very practical and straightforward which both children respond to and parents find very helpful. I love hearing children tell me about how they tried out a new coping skill in the real world and that it worked. They come back and tell me all about it and it makes my day. I also enjoy watching parents develop their skills as parents and being very satisfied at the change in their children and in their family dynamics. I get to play every day!
