- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always reading trade magazines, talking to paint store personel to learn about new products, trends, methods, etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed working with my hands. As a teenager I loved woodworking and building things. My Dad had a house built when I was 15 and I helped him with the painting and wall papering. I worked in a paint & hardware store and as Manager for a paint wholesaler where I learned alot of product knowledge before starting my own Decorating company over 23 years ago.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As a painting contractor, I often spend several days or even weeks on a job. You have to be comfortable with who ever you hire. As a customer, you have to be comfortable talking with your contractor as work progresses. I love getting feedback from my customers on a daily basis. My goal is to be sure you are happy with every aspect of my work and that I accomplished your decorating dream. Good communication is key!
