About
With over 30 years in interior design, I treat every project as a chance to outdo my last. My only competition is myself, and I’m always striving to do the job better than before. Details matter to me—from the first conversation to the final finishing touches. I listen carefully, respect your budget, and design spaces that feel personal, comfortable, and beautifully pulled together. The best part of my work is seeing the smile on a client’s face when everything comes together. If you’re ready to refresh or reimagine your space, I’d be happy to talk through your ideas.

BDS worked closely with us to develop the design characteristics we were hoping to achieve for the interior and exterior of our new building. They were critical in bringing all the key elements together and creating the feel that we were looking for. The final results were far superior to what we had originally anticipated. We were extremely pleased with the overall contributions from BDS for our new building.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Business Design Services for a building that we are renovating. Robert was so easy to work with and had some wonderful ideas. I felt like he understood our branding and led the charge well. I would recommend him highly with your personal or commercial design needs.

From Google

My wife and I retained Business Design Services to remodel a recently purchased residence. The house was in a great location and had "Good bones"... But the space utilization of the original interior design was atrocious. Halls going to and from nowhere. Ridiculous built-in cabinets in the hall to/from nowhere. An "Afterthought" eat-in area awkwardly dropped into the vaguely formed area at the edge of the kitchen... The list just goes on.Robert did an AMAZING job of sorting through all of the original design blunders to make a truly special, grand, kitchen and great room area. The area seems so much larger and spacious now. Everything is where it should be. Fantastic lighting. It is a very comfortable space but people still say, "Wow, this is really nice" when they first see it.Not only was the finished project something special, the design was very reverent to the fundamental nature of the original house. The original elements that worked (e.g. the grand fireplace) were woven seamlessly into the new design. Expert re-use of existing spaces with minimal disruption. The bottom line is that Robert can look at an existing space with issues and turn it into something that looks special and functions wonderfully... All while keeping what was good to begin with. He has my unqualified recommendation...
