I like the fact that I am helping to make someone's home a healthier place to live. I like the look of amazement when they see the difference between clean and soiled carpet as I am cleaning. I like to provide solutions to people's problems concerning their textiles. I like the fact that each day is different in the sense that different problems arise requiring thinking out of the box sometimes. I like the fact that for the most part I go to a different place to work each and my boss (the customer) is happy to see me. I like the constantly evolving technology in cleaning solutions, cleaning equipment, and techniques that keep me from being complacent in my knowledge.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First and foremost you get what you pay for. Cleaning services are no different. If a cleaner truly cares about doing the best job possible he/she will do three very important things. Get educated/certified in their cleaning speciality. Buy the most effective cleaning equipment and solutions. Take the time to do the job right. A fly by nite bargain cleaner will charge you less (sometimes) and leave you disappointed. Always ask for references that can readily be contacted. And certification is a must. Your prospective cleaner should have an IICRC card and number to prove certification.
