First and foremost, Luke is an excellent music teacher. During our consultation before, I actually committed to sign up with him, It was very apparent that he really understands music at a very high level and is able to translate that down to people of all ages. In addition to understanding musical composition at a high level, he is also an excellent musician. His teaching style is very smooth and transparent, and he allows you to move at your own speed and go back to items you've already covered to get a better grasp of it. I highly recommend signing up with his music school. You will definitely not be disappointed.

Luke has been an excellent piano teacher for my 7 and 6 year old boys. We love the convenience of having him come to our home and he makes each lesson fun and motivating for my kids. Their skills improve each week and Luke teaches them at a great pace for their differing skill and age levels. My boys actually look forward to piano lessons now and I absolutely credit Luke for fostering a fun learning environment for them. I highly recommend him as a piano teacher!

Luke has such a great personality and transpires confidence while he teaches. He constantly engages my kids interest, is patient and encouraging. Luke is very kind and flexible, as was evident when we couldn’t make our first lesson. He is also very knowledgeable on theory to give students a firm foundation and is able to navigate helpful teaching options (an audio/visual screen keyboard, piano sheets, etc) to make my son’s virtual lesson tangible.

I charge $120/mo for one 30-minute lesson a week. The first lesson is free.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson will be spent getting to know you and your past experience with the piano along with your goals for growth. We'll also spend some time setting up your environment to work well for online instruction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took serious classical piano lessons from when I was 6 until my junior year in college. When I was in middle school I began taking lessons from a phenomenal college professor and started winning local and state competitions. Around that time I also took dedicated jazz piano lessons from a separate teacher who specialized in jazz. I also took 24 credits of music theory in college.
