We had an awesome experience with Joseph Derry! We were looking for something to make my sister in law 's birthday party special. Joseph made thr night!! His magic was not only awesome, but he kept us laughing. We had a bit of an odd age group (10yo and 14yo and the rest adults), but Joseph made it fun for everyone. I'm so glad that we chose to have Joseph come to our party. He made the night!

Joseph was amazing. He performed at our local park and everyone stopped playing and payed attention to him. He was funny, engaging, sweet, kind, calm on so very patient. He made baloon animals for all of our guests and even children that were not part of our guest list. I would hire him for any occasion young and old. He is a true gem.

Joseph was great to communicate with leading up to the event, he was punctual and really professional. He had a group of 16 children 5 and under entranced for a whole hour!! It was a wonderful experience that the children are all still buzzing about. Highly recommend!

Joseph is extremely responsive. He got back to me within a few minutes of my post and was able to accommodate my last minute request within my budget. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our socially distanced birthday party package is singularly priced at $175. This one hour package features a fun-filled comedy magic show, co-starring the birthday child with great giveaways for all the kids. Currently only available for outdoor performances with social distancing and covid precautions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak or communicate with the customer to determine their exact party needs. Once I have an idea of the type of event that is being planned I will suggest entertainment packages to fit the event. If we can agree on date, time, location, and budget the customer will receive confirmation and several suggestions to help make their event special.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a life-long magician who has performed thousands of shows for audiences of all ages. My comedy magic has been featured in nightclubs, casinos, fairs, dinner theaters, and countless private parties. I have a great rapport with children's audiences as I am also a full-time elementary school teacher. My Children Of All Ages Show has been performed often at The Magic Castle.
