Decided to hire Fixed Handyman Service based upon positive customer reviews from past work performed. I purchased 10’x10’ aluminum retractable louvered pergola. Product instructions recommended 2-3 people to put together the pergola. Because I discovered the Fixed Handyman Service is a one man operation, I was concerned and questioned whether one person can complete the project. Aaron the owner was very responsive to my initial inquiry for a quote. I felt the quote was fair and competitive.
Aaron showed up in time as agreed upon by us. Although it was close to 100 degrees, the hot weather did not deter his work. I was amazed and impressed Aaron did not need help and was able to completely build the pergola by himself. Aaron took his time and made sure the pergola was balanced, secured and operational. I was very happy with Aaron’s professionalism and his desire to get the job done right. If anyone is looking for a reliable and honest handyman, look no further…..Fixed Handyman Service is the one to call.

Great handyman service! Fixed our bedroom door in a couple hours, very reasonable price. Was very responsive right off the bat, very transparent about pricing also which I appreciated! Was also very flexible about time as well. Will definitely recommend and use again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My desire is to be open and transparent with my pricing and focus on the outcome the customer is looking to achieve.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to have a conversation before arriving onsite to get clear on what outcome is needed and confirm the scope of work and plan. Once there is agreement I show up at the agreed upon day and time - I pride myself on being on time - and do the work and ensure my customer is completely satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I helped my father remodel 4 buildings in Jr. High and High School and learned plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, custom cabinetry, HVAC, windows, millwork. I worked in college at a home improvement store advising customers. I've custom built furniture for myself and family members and I worked closely with a builder to build my own home in Loomis, CA - installing a full solar system myself, staircase, irrigation and fencing.
