- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have some standard packages on my website, however most of the time I customize a package for my client in order to best suit their needs. Packages can include items such as hours of photography time, several locations, prints, albums, portrait sessions, and more. My custom packages usually range from about $600 to $1500.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Briefly, I meet with all my clients in advance to plan details and gather information about their needs and vision. I am available to answer questions throughout the planning process. I ask my clients to provide me an outline of the itinerary and a list of key participants. I work with everyone at the wedding to ensure I deliver the best photos I can, including coordinators, DJs, bridesmaids, and family members.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I schedule a few hours per week to research the latest news online and I attend meetings with other professional photographers to share information, tips and experiences. I am constantly seeking to update my skills and knowledge using training classes, online video courses, facebook groups and just plain practice. There are so many great ideas out there! It takes time to keep up with the profession, but it's a lot of fun and well worth the time spent.
