FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In California, Notaries are allowed to charge a maximum of $15 for each notarization. I add a convenience fee for my mobile notary public services. My process serving fees start at $75. You may incur additional fees depending on the circumstances. I will communicate with you prior to charging and/or adding any additional fees. My goal is for you to have a clear understanding of what the next steps are and what the total cost will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to discuss your needs on the phone or by text. Based on the information I can evaluate if I have everything I need prior to setting up an appointment. If not, I will recommend a better solution. Sometimes I will ask to see the document that you need notarized. I endeavor to be prepared for your appointment so I can avoid wasting your time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
