There is no "one size fits all" option in True Body Fitness. Because each client is different, so is each workout even during training classes. We modify and challenge as needed so all clients are successful with reaching their goals. We specialize in: 1. Fitness training from beginners with no previous exercise experience to recreational athletes. 2. Men and women with limitations: previous injury/post rehab (with doctor clearance if needed), obesity, auto-immune disorders and cancer patients and survivors (with doctor clearance). 3. Weightlifting for weight loss and physique change. 4. Nutrition coaching 5. Kettlebell training We enjoy not only helping our clients meet their goals, but also to help them overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. Kathy's favorite saying is, "it's about progress not perfection".

I am really enjoying having Kathy as my personal trainer. She is so knowledgeable and encouraging and has developed a program specific to my goals and limitations. We are working on both fitness and nutrition. I can already feel myself getting stronger with our workouts and the nutrition program is taylored so I make slow changes over time that I buy into - so they will work and simply become my new normal. Perfect! Thanks Kathy, I'm so happy to have you to help me through making lasting healthy changes!

I had a pretty significant knee injury while playing soccer last October and decided to look into a personal trainer, as I had gained some weight and lost a tremendous amount of muscle (and confidence). Kathy has, by far, exceeded all of my expectations. Within the first few weeks I noticed increased muscle especially around my injured knee, which has helped me walk better. I have also been steadily losing weight and gaining energy as well as confidence. Having gone through a slew of trainers in the past I can honestly say that Kathy has been the most promising. She is quite approachable, yet firm in her methods while demonstrating her expertise in proper form, technique, diet and exercises specific to my body type and weight loss plan. I highly recommend her as a personal trainer.

Personal Training Services Before I started training with Kathy Gotz at True Body Fitness, I was not exercising AT ALL. I had very low energy (which is probably not surprising) and low motivation. I used to have a membership at a gym but I hated working out in a place where I did not know anyone and where no one held me accountable. Since I started training with Kathy Gotz in December 2016, I have more energy and find that I really enjoy her workouts. It feels good to sweat and to challenge myself. I participated in the True Body Fitness Transformation Challenge which began on January 23, 2017 and ended today, February 18, 2017. It has been a wonderful experience. Kathy taught us to keep food journals and it really opened my eyes with respect to what I was putting in my body. Her nutrition workshops encouraged me to cook for the first time in my new apartment as well as make better choices about what I eat. I lost four pounds and have a slimmer waist thanks to this Challenge. If you are on the fence about personal training, try True Body Fitness. It is not only affordable, but a great investment in your health and well being. I love that Kathy encourages you to work hard without ever making you feel guilty for the occasions when you may not have made the best choices with respect to your diet or fitness outside of the gym.

I needed a trainer to make sure I didn't mess up my knees, and support the level I started at with her! (Which was hard to get up off the floor). She respected that I had different trainers in the past. She keeps it changing so your body stays engaged (and your mind)! In 8 months, I know my core is stronger and my health is better - absolutely due to the work outs with Kathy! I unconditionally recommend her to anyone - no matter what your age!!!
