FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe therapy should be straightforward and transparent. My standard fee is **$200 per 50-minute session**. I offer a **complimentary 15-minute phone consultation** so you can ask questions, discuss your goals, and determine whether we're a good fit before scheduling an appointment. I am an **out-of-network provider** and do not bill insurance directly. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide documentation (a superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. During that conversation, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to accomplish, and whether my approach is a good fit for your needs. If I believe another provider would better serve you, I'll gladly point you in the right direction. If we decide to work together, I'll send you secure electronic intake forms to complete through my encrypted client portal. Once those are finished, we'll schedule your first virtual therapy session. Our first few sessions focus on understanding your concerns, identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and clarifying your goals. From there, we'll create a personalized treatment plan using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and neuroscience-informed strategies. My goal is to help you build practical skills that create meaningful, lasting change - not just help you get through the week. This version aligns well with your website and Psychology Today profile while emphasizing the structured, evidence-based experience clients can expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience providing psychotherapy to adults navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and emotional challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work degree and have completed advanced training in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, neuroscience-informed therapy, and trauma-informed care. I have also provided clinical training and workshops on topics including Emotional Intelligence, resilience, mindfulness, and effective coping strategies. Over the years, I have worked with individuals in a variety of settings, including mental health programs, hospitals, community organizations, and private practice. This experience has shaped my approach: combining clinical expertise with warmth, compassion, and practical tools that help people create meaningful, lasting change. My work is especially focused on helping high-achieving adults who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside - supporting them in building greater emotional resilience, balance, and fulfillment.
