Tim did a great job on the installation. He also was able to get new drapes made to replace some missing drapes in time for the original installation date.

I have built homes in Utah as an owner-builder. Recently a wide, motorized shade was broken at my mother-in-law's place in L.A. I found Tim with Collins Installation through Thumbtack which I had not used prior. Tim could not have been more responsive and the job was done inside a 3 day period where they removed it, repaired it off-site, tested it and replaced it. Having dealt with contractors while building four homes I have seldom seen the steady communication that showed me that he cared about my problem, wanted my business and knew what he was doing. Regarding the price for the job, I could have had the shade fixed for less money but I asked him to call me to discuss options so that we would not have any problems going forward. Afterall, if one cord breaks there is a chance of other cords failing in the future. I asked Tim to call me to address my options and I was comfortable that Tim was guiding me to the best solution. Again, Tim was awesome and according to my wife (who happened to be in town when the job was finished), he and his assistant were "wonderful."
