During the session, I did my best to guide posing, expressions, and overall direction based on the references and goals discussed beforehand. I also recommend that clients arrive fully prepared, camera-ready, and sober for professional headshot sessions, especially when the images are intended for important business submissions or competitions. In the future, I’d also encourage communicating concerns during the shoot itself so adjustments can be made in real time, rather than after the full gallery and RAW files have already been delivered.
