What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the ceremony location, travel distance, level of customization, and any additional services requested. I provide the total price upfront so there are no surprises. A deposit may be required to reserve your wedding date, with the remaining balance due by the day of the ceremony.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick phone or Zoom consultation to get to know the couple and learn what they envision for their ceremony. We discuss the style, language, special requests, and any religious or cultural elements they would like included. Before the wedding, I confirm the final details and make sure the couple has obtained their marriage license. On the wedding day, I perform the ceremony and complete my portion of the marriage license.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained minister authorized to perform wedding ceremonies. I have also taken the time to study California marriage ceremony and marriage license requirements so I can guide couples through the officiant portion of the process with care and attention to detail.
