In addition to outstanding written and oral communication skills in English, I also speak and write fluently in Spanish. I also have basic communication abilities in Hebrew. I was born and educated in the United States, but I have lived in Israel, Spain and Mexico. In addition to my B.A. in communications from CSULB, I am a recent graduate from the UCLA paralegal certification program. Beginning in January of 2012, I worked as a legal assistant and translator for a law firm in Pasadena that specialized in foreclosure defense and helping people obtain loan modifications and was happy to learn that I enjoy the practice of real estate and real estate issues. I also assisted in the immigration department. I fulfilled all front office support duties, which included scheduling/coordinating meetings, maintaining electronic files and formatting and editing documents. I acted as the liaison between attorneys and also between attorneys and firm clients regarding ongoing legal questions and case status updates. I was also responsible for writing informational and update letters and for translating important website firm information, legal documents and attorney-client communications and was the manager for Stephen R. Golden & Associates' remote office located in Oxnard.
