About
Growing up, I was always the awkward, overweight, ungraceful, uncoordinated bookworm. But my lack of exercise and bad eating habits led me to an unhealthy lifestyle and a weight of over 200 lbs. Over the course of 3 years, I lost 75 lbs through a variety of cardio exercises. Then my boyfriend (now fiance) introduced me to Pilates and Vinyasa Yoga and EVERYTHING changed. With Pilates and Yoga, the grace, athleticism, coordination and strength that eluded me for years finally came to me by consistently practicing Vinyasa and classical and contemporary Pilates. Now I want to help others with their own journeys. I want to help others develop body awareness, find joy in physical activity, learn about their bodies, and achieve kindness towards themselves -- just as I did on my own fitness journey. I love teaching. From leading fun group fitness classes to teaching others about the anatomy and physiology of their bodies as we work one-on-one or in a semi-private setting. I teach my clients and my group classes from a place of "mindful movement" -- a blend of yogic philosophy, classic Pilates methodology, mindfulness meditation and in-depth anatomy and physiology. I want you to know what the purpose of a pose or movement is, where you should feel it and if there's any limitations, how to improve the limitations, and why this pose in this moment of your session. And then go inwards and see how it feels to you!

Tricialee is an amazing, caring instructor. I have had her for both private and group Pilates classes, and I get an excellent workout. She’s so attentive and remembers where you’re at to give you personalized tips every time. Highly recommend!
