Welcome to our doggy haven in the Santa Cruz mountains! I love dogs and have 30 years of experience in providing exceptional care for furry friends. At our 5-acre retreat nestled among towering redwoods, your beloved pups will find themselves in doggy paradise. The five acre yard is FULLY FENCED, one long fence around five acres with our house in the middle.
I grew up on a ranch with 7 dogs, two cats and a bunch of goats/sheep and chickens. As a kid the dogs and goats were my responsibility, and I loved it. As an adult our friends and family often ask us to watch their dogs, since we have so much space here. Now we have turned this passion into a full-time job with our dog boarding business
Pups have the freedom to sprint around to their hearts content, through a wide variety of landscapes and obstacles. Old growth redwood stumps, open meadows, slopes and flat, your dog will not get bored here. I have found that dogs tend to get along great with each other here, probably because there is so much fun space to explore together. In the rare instance that certain dogs aren’t getting along we have the ability to isolate them in separate fencelines, so they can still have fun and get exercise safely.

We boarded our two 9 month husky mix puppies with Eric for two weeks. They didn’t want to come home! Eric sent us pics regularly and let us know the pups were doing great. Lots of fun doggy playmates and space to roam. Looking forward to using Paradise again!

As my husband and I prepared for our two-week trip to Korea, we were anxious about finding the right place for our puppy—somewhere she could not just be safe, but actually enjoy herself. We didn’t want her cooped up inside a boarding facility for that long, so we searched everywhere for a more open, enriching environment.
When we found this place, we were overjoyed. We could immediately imagine her having her own little summer camp adventure!
During our meet and greet with Eric, all of our worries melted away. He welcomed us warmly, let us explore the property, and it was clear how much space there was for the dogs to roam and play. Just as importantly, it was obvious Eric truly knows how to care for dogs.
Throughout our trip, he sent us daily photo and video updates, which brought us so much comfort and joy. It was heartwarming to see her having the time of her life—falling in love for the first time with a sweet husky boy and building strong friendships with the other pups. She was smiling in every photo.
We can’t recommend this place enough. With five acres of land and plenty of shade, it’s a dog’s paradise. Our puppy came home happy, healthy, and full of stories🌸💗

Our dog will stay the end of May and the first part of June. We did do a meet & greet and were impressed with the facility and Eric the owner. Our dog loved it there so I anticipate no problems

Boris had a fantastic time at Eric's Paradise Dog Boarding. Eric is friendly and knowledgeable, and they clearly love what they do. They took the time to get to know Boris and tailor their care to his individual needs.
From the moment we dropped Boris off, we knew he was in good hands. Eric was always available to answer any questions, and he provided us with regular updates on Boris's stay.
The facility itself is spacious, and well-equipped to meet the needs of dogs of all sizes.
