Introduction: Positive reinforcement training works for dogs and owners! Clicker training is effective because it's a clear, fun, non threatening way to learn, both for dogs and humans. Training is not rocket science, but it is science based. I find the motivators that work for each individual dog. Owners then use those motivators to reinforce the behaviors that they want, while discouraging those behaviors that they don't want. Immediately the channels open up for clear communication, effective training, and behavior management. Dogs need certain things from their owners, and owners need certain things from their dogs. My training program fulfills both needs with understanding, patience, and clear communication, satisfying both ends of the leash.
