About
The Lineup started back in 2019 because I kept seeing event hosts get let down by staffing companies that sent unreliable people and disappeared the second something went wrong. Six years later we've grown into one of the most trusted event staffing teams in the area, and we still run it the same way we did on day one.
We staff bartenders, servers, bussers, kitchen helpers, and event captains for weddings, corporate functions, private parties, brand activations, and pretty much anything you can throw at us. Big or small, every event gets treated the same. Show up early, dressed sharp, ready to work, and we don't leave until the room is clean.
What makes us different is the people. I personally vet everyone who works under The Lineup name. No staffing roulette, no last minute strangers, no hoping for the best. Our crew has real event experience and the kind of energy you actually want around your guests. Calm under pressure, fast on their feet, and friendly without getting in the way.
We also communicate the whole way through. You'll know who's coming, when they'll be there, and who to call if anything comes up. No ghosting, no surprises the day of.
You can probably find cheaper out there. You won't find a team that takes your event more seriously than ours. That's how we've built our name since 2019 and it's why our clients keep coming back.

I cannot say enough about The Lineup and the incredible job their team did at our wedding. We had a formal sit down dinner and requested synchronized service. Every single plate hit the table at the exact same moment across the entire room. It sounds like a small detail but it made the whole reception feel truly elevated and five star. The servers were polished, graceful, and moved through the room like a well rehearsed team. They anticipated every need before we even had to ask, refilling glasses, clearing courses smoothly, and keeping the entire flow of the evening on point. Our guests were blown away and kept asking who we hired. The Lineup brought a level of professionalism and elegance to our wedding that I honestly did not think was possible outside of a luxury hotel ballroom. If you are planning a wedding and want your dining experience to feel world class, book The Lineup. You will not regret it.

Been working with Lineup Staffing for almost two years now and figured it was finally time to leave a review since they keep saving me on tight turnarounds.Quick context. I book talent for corporate events and comedy showcases, mostly LA based but I'll pull people for stuff in Vegas, Chicago, wherever the client is. Finding comics or hosts who can read a corporate room without bombing is way harder than people think. Half the comedy world thinks "clean set" just means they won't drop the f bomb. What I like about Lineup is they actually get the difference between a Friday night Improv crowd and a tech company offsite where the CFO's wife is sitting front row with arms crossed. I've worked with other staffing agencies where I'd spend an hour on the phone explaining what "corporate clean" even means. With Lineup, the bookers get it. I can text my rep "need a host, 45 min, Fortune 500 crowd, prefer someone who can riff" and she comes back same day with three real options. Not a database dump.Their roster also skews younger and more diverse than most agencies I've used. As an Asian guy who's been doing this since the early 2010s, I remember when "diverse lineup" basically meant one Black comic and one Latina headliner and that was the whole pitch. Lineup actually has range, which matters when clients ask for it (and these days they always ask).A couple small gripes since I'm being honest. Their email response time can be slow if you're not already on an active project. First time I reached out it took maybe four days to hear back, which almost made me bail. Once you're in the system though it's smooth. I also wish they had a proper portal for contracts instead of running everything through email threads, but whatever, it works.Pricing is fair. Not the cheapest, definitely not the most expensive. You get what you pay for and I'd rather pay a little extra than have a comic forget the company's name on stage. Yes that's happened to me. Different agency. Never again.Bottom line, if you're booking corporate or showcase talent and need people who actually show up prepared, just call them. Zero no shows, zero meltdowns, one minor scheduling hiccup in two years, which in this business is basically a miracle.

Used Lineup Staffing for our annual Christmas party and honestly couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. We needed somewhere between 6 and 10 staff to cover bartending, food service, and general floor support for around 150 guests, and they sorted it all out without any drama. The booking process was easy. I sent over what we needed, got a response the same day, and had everything confirmed within about a week. No back and forth, no surprise charges, no weird fine print. Just a straight answer on pricing and availability. On the night, the team showed up early. I think it was about 45 minutes before guests arrived, which gave them time to walk the venue, get briefed, and figure out where everything was. They came dressed sharp, all matching, and clearly knew what they were doing. A couple of them had worked similar events before and you could tell. They didn't need much hand holding from me, which was a relief because I was already running around dealing with the caterer and the AV guy. What stood out was how proactive they were. Drinks kept flowing, empty glasses got cleared before I even noticed them, and when one of our guests spilled red wine on the carpet, two staff were on it within seconds. The lead they assigned, I think her name was Sophie, basically ran the floor for me and checked in throughout the night to make sure we were happy.Pricing felt fair for what we got. Not the cheapest option I looked at, but you can tell where the extra goes. Staff that actually care, turn up on time, and make you look good in front of your colleagues. Will absolutely use them again next year. If you're on the fence about which agency to go with for a bigger function, just book Lineup and stop second guessing it.

Had Lineup Staffing in after our daughter's sweet sixteen last month and honestly I should have rung them years ago. We had close to seventy teenagers through the house plus the parents who lingered, and the state of the place by midnight was something I'd rather not describe in detail. Let's just say someone discovered the cake could double as a projectile. The team showed up the next morning right on time, which is more than I can say for most contractors out here. Three of them, all professional, all clearly knew what they were doing. They didn't need me hovering over them explaining where things go, which I appreciated because I was nursing a headache and contemplating my life choices. What surprised me was the attention to detail. Found a champagne flute tucked behind one of the planters on the deck that I'd completely forgotten about. They mentioned it on the way out instead of just binning it, which sounds small but it happened to be one of a set my wife inherited from her grandmother. Saved me an awkward conversation.Pricing was fair. Not the cheapest option I looked at, but I've learned the hard way that cheap cleaners cost you more in the long run when you have to redo half their work yourself. We've now used them four times and they've handled everything from a quiet anniversary dinner to a fundraiser that left the kitchen looking like a war zone. Same standard every visit. I've stopped shopping around. Recommend them without hesitation if you entertain often and value your weekends.

Listen. I been in this catering game for four years now and finding good help been the hardest part of running my business. I'm talking servers who show up late, dishwashers who don't wanna wash, bartenders who can't pour. I was bout to lose my mind tryna staff a 200 person wedding last summer when somebody put me on to Lineup Staffing.Y'all. Game changer.I called em kinda last minute, like a real catering emergency, and they ain't even flinch. Got me four servers and two dishwashers, all of em showed up early, in proper black and whites, ready to work. No attitude, no standing around on they phone, no me having to babysit grown folks. They moved like they been with my company for years. What I appreciate the most is they actually listen to what kinda event you running. Soul food catering ain't the same as plating up little fancy hors d'oeuvres at a gala. My events got energy, got family, got aunties asking for to go plates. The staff Lineup sent understood the vibe and rolled with it.Pricing fair too. I ain't gone lie, I was nervous bout the cost cause I'm still a small business out a van, but it worked out where I could actually pay folks right and still make my money. Booking process easy, they communicate, and if something come up they on it.I been using Lineup for every event over 50 people since then. Birthdays, repasts, corporate lunches, all of it. They my staffing plug now, period. If you a caterer, event planner, or anybody who need real workers who actually work, stop playing and call Lineup Staffing. Y'all saved my whole operation.
