What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices depend on the nature of the work. Generally, the rates vary from $50 to $75 per hour. Creative work or projects requiring advanced technical expertise are billed at a higher rate. Basic editorial work is billed at a lower rate. Prices are negotiable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule a free interview where we discuss the scope of the project. I provide a bid for the project. I collect 50% payment before starting the work, and 50% upon completion. I provide regular status reports on the progress of the project. Meetings are scheduled as needed.
