Hi! I’m Chef Jackie! I’m based in Los Angeles and hope to have the opportunity to cook with you or for you! In addition to being a classically-trained chef, I’m an experienced registered dietitian-nutritionist and I taught cooking classes at The Institute of Culinary Education for over 15 years. I love providing cooking lessons and aim to make each session a personalized, fun, and educational experience for one or many. It's rare I get to take cooking lessons from someone that's both a chef and a nutritionist. Not only can I now use a chef's knife properly and do wonderful things with avocado and mango (including making tropical mango-avocado guacamole!), I know some tricks to make healthy foods more flavorful. Jackie provides a great experience all around!

I'm a classically-trained chef, graduating with a Certificate in Professional Cooking from Kendall College. I'm also a registered dietitian-nutritionist (RDN) and certified dietitian nutritionist (CDN) in New York, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Allied Medical Professions from The Ohio State University. I continually seek out national and international continuing education opportunities.
