Nate assisted us with our hunt for a German shepherd and we found an incredible pup! He prepped us for bringing a puppy into our family by identifying what things we will need and also what mindset we need to have, he was incredibly helpful with the entire process! Through training with him once our pup came home, we learned so much about navigating walks, play, house rules, and providing a happy home for the pup. Definitely recommend Nate for all your dog training needs!

You must hire Nate--working with him will make you realize 99.9% of "dog trainers" and widespread dog rearing info is nonsense and actually counterproductive. He won't just train your dog to do "tricks". In fact, he'll do very little dog training. Nate is in the business of training PEOPLE to raise confident, well-balanced, and respectful dogs. Don't be mistaken--your dog will come out of his program a much happier and obedient dog. But that's just a BIG PLUS. Most importantly, YOU will come out of the program a better dog guardian with the best tools and skills to maintain a mutually respectful and joyful relationship with your pupper. HIRE NATE. (I did many many months of research on dog training methods and philosophies before I finally hired Nate--trust me, neither you or your dog will regret it)

Nate knows dogs. If you’re looking for a cookie cutter trainer, Nate isn’t for you. Nate takes the time to learn about you and your dog. Sit, stay, lay? Sure, Nate can teach your dog basic commands. But what I valued most about my experience with Nate is that he knew me and my dog so well that he catered a training regimen specific to our wacky needs. He didn’t just train my pup, he TAUGHT ME. That in itself is no easy task. He was patient with me and instilled many valuable lessons for a dog handler , that most trainers forget to mention. Nate goes above and beyond in his work. Not only did he train my stubborn Mallinois, he invested his time in learning about my dogs fears and together we overcame HUGE obstacles . Nate knew my dogs favorite treats, he knew the type of food my dog should be eating for his special diet . Nate knew just about everything and could answer ANY QUESTIONS. Nate isn’t just our trainer , he’s our mentor and a new forever friend ! Nate worked with me until I was confident in my dogs success, he didn’t put any time limit on our training, which I really valued as a dog mom. He worked with us until we met our goals. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and we still call Nate regularly with questions to which he never hesitates to answer even when he’s “off duty”. We love Nate !!

I can not say enough about how highly I recommend working with Nate. I have worked For short periods with numerous trainers over the years to help with specific challenges and have been unsuccessful. Some of the behaviors I was told were unfixable and that my dog would just have to live a restricted life in ways as a result. It turns out thats not the case and I wouldn’t have gotten to see that if it weren’t for working with Nate. Nate truly cares about his clients getting great results and he clearly LOVES dogs and wants them to live their best lives. Nate didn’t train my dog, he trained me to train my dog and I am genuinely in disbelief at how successful the techniques Nate has taught me have been. Over the last few weeks since completing my package with Nate I am astounded and so happy to see that we have actually in many ways surpassed our original goals. Nate is gifted trainer (also a really good person and hilarious) who really knows his stuff and throughout our training he was so available, consistent and committed to successful completion of our training goals. Both my pup and I are so much happier as a result of working with him and I’m super grateful.

Anyone who know me knows how much I’m in love with my dog. I’m the proud owner of a 6 year-old Australian Shepherd. We rescued him right before his first birthday, trauma and all. He has always been reactive towards strangers, my coddling didn’t help the situation. Once I found out I was pregnant, I knew training was imperative for my growing family. Enter Nate. I have always felt defensive in regards to my dog, Nate never made me feel like I had done something wrong. He assured me that Oliver felt my love but needed further direction and leadership. He trained my dog (mainly my husband and I) how to behave appropriately. With dedication and patience I am so proud to say that we have a new dog. A dog that I feel safe having around my baby. Nate was truly the best investment thus far. He remains in regular contact, providing insight and advice along our journey. My 16 month old baby boy loves my dog, and he loves him. I couldn’t be more grateful.
