FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing and discount information can be found by going to my website or by calling or writing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to speak to new customers in order to understand their needs and expectations before actually getting together for the shoot. This can be in person or over the phone and is simply used as a way for each of us to get to know each other a bit before we shoot. I use this time to offer suggestions on hair, makeup, and clothing and to also get a feel for where the customer wants to shoot. I'm always open for new locations and have quite a few spots that I like as well that we can always go to should the customer decide to leave that up to me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a camera aficionado for many years and have always enjoyed the interaction of taking photos of people. Although I enjoy all types of photography, taking photos of people is the aspect of photography I enjoy the most. I particularly relish the thought that my photos will (in the case of family and couples photography) become family keepsakes that will be "handed down" from the current to future generations and will become part of their family lore. I enjoy playing a small role in recording that family history.
