About Are We Having Fun Media - Initially our students came to us with a need for a patient, flexible teacher who breaks the mould of old teaching habits (aka negative reinforcement). This has led to a loving student base ranging from young learners, memory issues, alternative learning styles, relearning music as an adult, and people with busy schedules. Every student lesson differs based on learning style and interests, and we incorporate traditional teaching methods with the student's desired choices in classical, pop, rock, jazz, blues, show tunes, or improv.
About Mia, Nashville: Mia is a passionate singer with a soulful timbre and a classical background. She started singing as soon as she could talk. Her classical training started 12 years ago, and since then has placed in classical competitions, served as choir leader, performed solo and in alternative rock bands around Florida and Los Angeles. She is now serves as a guide for students in Nashville/online, ranging from beginners just learning how to make a sound, to intermediate students prepping auditions, to working musicians honing in on their craft.
About Kaehla, Los Angeles: Kaehla has been studying, performing, and teaching piano for a combined 25 years. After graduating college with a degree in Health Sciences as well as health coaching training, she Are We Having Fun as a way to funnel her studies into her true passion her of acting/music/modeling in order to enhance people's lives, and the rest is history. She caters to families on the westside of LA/online, blending traditional training methods with contemporary music and alternative learning styles.
