- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Paralegals in California are required to do 10 hours of continuing legal education every two years. California also requires that Legal Document Assistants who help the public directly register with the County Recorder every two years and maintain a bond.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always make sure that someone is accountable for your work. Often times, there will be a correction or change that needs to be made on your legal documents; don't get stuck in "the system" trying to look for help, you need a real person who will be accountable for and on top of your work.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
