What a pleasure it was working with Freelance Paralegal Services. Earlier this year (2010), I needed to officially form my business and decided to call upon Freelance. I talked with David, who was very helpful in explaining to me the different business formation options that were available to me. I had no idea and didn't know which way to go, which means I had plenty of questions! David was very patient with me and really took the time to listen and give me the pros and cons of each option available (LLC, Corporation, etc.). Once I made my decision, the process moved along really quick and before I knew it, I was 'official'. The staff at Freelance was great: professional, timely, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them (and I have already) to anyone in need of affordable paralegal services in California, especially if you are in the Venice area.

He helped my wife with the filings to gain the citizenship. We got hold of him from the 26th of September til the 18th of October. We just received the proof from the Los Angeles County for the citizenship. He was efficient, professional and responsive to our needs. He provided what we needed. We payed the service without complaint. We even sent him a complementary email. We will recommend him to others because he has been very professional with his job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Paralegals in California are required to do 10 hours of continuing legal education every two years. California also requires that Legal Document Assistants who help the public directly register with the County Recorder every two years and maintain a bond.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always make sure that someone is accountable for your work. Often times, there will be a correction or change that needs to be made on your legal documents; don't get stuck in "the system" trying to look for help, you need a real person who will be accountable for and on top of your work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That the profession exists. Most people think that their only option is to hire an attorney at the cost of thousands of dollars. Legal Document Assistants can prepare the same exact paperwork based upon the same exact set of facts involved in your case for much less!
