FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not accept insurance. At the end of each month, I can provide a superbill which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. I often encourage clients to contact their insurance provider to learn more about their reimbursement rate. Zelle and credit card are accepted. The session fee is $180
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical sessions with me are collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your needs. We'll explore what's happening in your life, identify patterns that are affecting you, and work toward goals together. I'll provide a supportive space to better understand your experiences, consider new perspectives, and find ways to move forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) and completed clinical training at LMU's Student Psychological Services, where I provided individual and group therapy. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent more than sixteen years as a music educator. My time as a music teacher reinforced the importance of creativity and self compassion to help people overcome any obstacles in order to reach their artistic goals.
