Hi there! My name is Liz Akintomide and I’m from the Bay Area. I have a huge passion for makeup, learning new techniques and constantly practicing and honing my skills. I’ve been doing makeup on myself since I was 19 years old and doing makeup professionally for over ten years now. I have lots of experience working with clients with all different skin tones/types/textures. I’ve done special fx makeup, wedding makeup, professional head shot makeup and makeup for a music video. I use high quality makeup brands I.e, Chanel, Dior, Sisley, La Mer, MAC, NARS, etc. I also bring my own lighting set up and include complimentary lash application with every booked service. While I am not skilled in the hair styling department, my friend and assistant Olivia Green more than makes up for it. Together we travel and slay weddings, photo shoots really whatever it is that you are up for. I have three other makeup artists I work with regularly for larger makeup gigs. She was fantastic!! I was very impressed with and grateful for Liz’s make-up magic! She worked wonders getting me ready for a Studio 54 themed birthday party. I felt glamorous and beautiful and received numerous compliments throughout the evening!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever working with a client for the first time I always make them a face chart so they can easily recreate what we did and a little goodie bag of my favorite beauty products for them to try.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over ten years experience doing makeup on a wide range of skin tones and women and men of all ages with different skin tones/textures. Worked as a beauty stylist within a major department store for two years as well so in very well versed in beauty and the latest trends/product drops.
