The Riding Master
I was inspired to become a Riding Instructor while attending Cal Poly University in Pomona, CA, where I received a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Business. I was involved in the Arabian Horse Program there and developed an intense admiration for the beauty, intelligence, and versatility of the Arabian breed. I had my own horse then and also participated in horse shows and helped others succeed in the competition.
Mary Manns offers horse riding lessons to various students, and she helps them connect with the horses that they rode. This skill and expertise was supported by her husband as well as her child, thus, encouraging her to open her own horse riding lessons business as well as other related services.
We have all met teachers in our lifetime who influenced us positively. I think that enthusiasm, humor, and creative teaching methods are the hallmarks of an excellent instructor. I strive to keep the riding lessons upbeat and fun, and to keep my students guessing as to what will happen next. I love to have my students play games on horseback, ride to music, and more. They don't realize they are becoming excellent riders while having so much fun.
Mary admits changing her job from the 9 to 5 work she used to have into this full-time business was not an easy decision, but she felt the fulfillment in doing something she was very passionate for. One of her success stories was working with a young girl who had a fear of riding a horse. After having the session with Mary, her client was very happy.
Ride your horses the best way you want it so learn from Mary Manns now.
