I had an incredible experience with Christmas Cheer, and it warrants a review! We have been wanting Christmas lights on our roofline for almost a decade, but the price has always deterred us from taking the plunge. It’s been quite some time since I’ve used Thumbtack, and decided to give it another go. I sent out 3 estimates, and out of the three, I selected Christmas Cheer. I always read several reviews, the positive and the negative and go from there. My main contact was Stephanie. She reached out and was responsive the entire way from beginning to end. We hit a couple of snags along the way with timing due to weather and having the additional equipment, but Javier, our installer, was amazing. Our roofline was somewhat complicated because we had a steep driveway, required a 30ft ladder, and it is 200ft around, but Javier made it look effortless. He worked through the cold night air each time over 2-3 days due to the challenges. Our lights have been up for over a week, and it is plain joy to see from the street view. Thanks to this family owned business for making this experience painless! Appreciate you guys!

They were responsive to my initial request and were able to add me to their schedule in a time that worked for me. Javier showed up with the appropriate tools and work quickly and was able to make adjustments as needed. He was friendly and efficient. I would hire them again.

Javier was very professional. He came next day on Nov 30th. I paid the estimate in full which included removal after the holidays and he arrived promptly after contact for removal. The lights below are our own lights, some are solar (dim). Not all of our non ice-cickle lights were working and he explained that he checked fuses but unfortunately some of our bulbs on strands were just too tired. However he did use them as extension cords and it worked great. We had one plug in for the entire set up along the roofline. Important, for a 1950s ranch… outlets weren’t a priority then! If you just don’t have the time, give them a call!

Our process for new customers is designed to be simple and stress-freee. First we start with a consultation, either in person or over the phone, to discuss your vision and the areas that you want decorated. We then provide a custom quote based on the project size and details. Once you approve, we schedule an installation date that work best for you. On the day of installation, our team arrives fully prepared to handle everything from setup to testing, ensuring all ligths are woking perfectly. After the holidays, we also offer take-down services to make the process as easy as possible for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over seven years of hands-on experience installing Christmas lights and outdoor lighting. During this time, I’ve gained extensive training in safe ladder use, electrical connections, proper installation techniques, and weather-resistant setup. I am experienced in planning layouts, creating balanced designs, and ensuring that all installations comply with safety standards.
