Introduction: I take the time to make it stand out. I am not thinking that I have got to get out of here because I have X amount of jobs today. I only schedule what I can reasonably do and still keep my standard expectation up as well. What I like most about my job is the satisfaction I get when I see the difference I made in the customers home on their carpet. It may sound petty to some people but I get satisfaction when they tell me but most importantly I can see the difference coming in and going out when the job is finished.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew that cleaning carpet and seeing carpet that is well cleaned when I finished was a very satisfying thing for me. That is where I began investigating how I could get started. It has been several years but I remember the responsibility I felt about getting the training and education I needed to start a carpet cleaning service. I still enjoy doing this many years later.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask if they will do a very good job and not a a 1 hour in and out job. Assure yourself as much as you can that you will be getting an excellent job done by your questioning. Tell them that you will not accept a half way job. Ask them if they use rotary cleaning equipment.
