My friends jokingly call me Dr. Doolittle. Dogs are my passion and first love. All animals are, for that matter. Reptiles, Birds, Insects, Wild and Domesticated Animals - I simply adore them all! As a little girl my dream was to be either a Forest Ranger or a Marine Biologist.

🐾 An Animal Short Story 🐾
For 5 years we lived in a little cottage off a dirt road in the North Shore of Kauai, just steps from the ocean.
What we cherished about our place was that the windows were always open to nature, and our front door was always open to visitors, human and animal.
Nearly every day a dog, cat or wild chicken (and even the occasional wounded Mynah bird!) would come to our door for a visit.
Some who we knew, and some we'd never met, would stop by because they knew they were near an animal loving house.
Animals have a sixth sense about where they will be safe and loved.
Lost animals, hungry animals, and animals just wanting some affection or to nap on our floor somehow would find their way to our home.

I have a soothing and calming way with animals and their owners. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Rats, Birds, Horses... all immediately know that with me that they have a solid leader who helps them feel secure, and someone with a mothering instinct who can recognize and meet their needs.

My best friend and animal loving business partner is my husband, Jordan.
Having raised dogs and cats all of his life, he has a gentle, firm authority.
He is particularly skilled at training dogs.
And he gives the BEST doggie and cat massages.
🐕 EXERCISE FOR YOUR DOG 🐕
As an avid hiker, walker and beach explorer, dogs in our care get the exercise they need. A tired dog is a happy dog. I've become quite familiar with trails all over Marin, and have discovered some of the best kept secret off leash spots around.

I'm a licensed psychotherapist, yoga & meditation teacher, retreat leader and writer with a private practice in Mill Valley. I spend my early mornings writing and seeing clients, and the rest of my day I'm with dogs out in nature. Yes, I LOVE my work! I'm also an avid gardener and nature photographer.
Jordan is a Relationship Manager for TalkDesk in San Francisco. He’s a yoga teacher as well, and passionate about animals, nature, cooking and pool.
We've lived in the Bay Area for over 30 years.
Most recently we spent 5 years in the North Shore of Kauai with family where Jordan was an Executive Director for a community park and I fell in love with taking care of animals.

We call it "Homesitting"instead of Housesitting because we truly do take care of your Home. To us, it is an honor to be in someone's place where they live their lives, and we do treat a Home like a living thing itself. A Home needs nurturance, is the place where memories are created and held, and for most, is a sanctuary.
Our goal when we Homesit is to have you come back to a place that warms your heart when you walk in the door.

We’ll go on hikes, walks and other adventures in nature.
I've raised and taken care of many water dogs, so I'm also happy being with them for water sports (beach walks, swims, chuck-it fun in lakes and ocean...).
For older dogs or dogs just needing companionship, we can relax at home or hang out at a cafe, park or the beach for stimulation.
