I am a proud mom and business owner. Family and food are at the heart of everything in my life. I grew up in Iran with a large family that was always hosting parties. On the weekends, we would go to our farm where we grew fresh produce to cook at home. It’s so important for me to carry on my family tradition (and recipes passed down from my great grandmother :), and create experiences that showcase fresh, delicious flavors from local farms and bring people together to enjoy and celebrate any occasion. That is the inspiration for my cooking — and, the name of my business, Saffa, which means pure delight in Farsi. A few more details about me: ● Specialize in authentic, homestyle Persian cuisine with fresh, locally sourced ingredients ● Well-versed in a variety of cuisines such as Italian and Californian ● Catering events ranging from 25 to 100 guests, offering an array of dishes and levels of service ● Creating intimate, in-home private dining experiences for events ranging from 8 to 14 guests ● Planning and delivering custom, pre-made meals for families on a weekly basis
