Coach Tony and coach Isabelle have been so patient with my (almost) 2yr old. When my daughter first started with them, she was crying but got over it after 5 min. He was prepared with toys and worked very well with her comfort level. He didn’t rush her with her skills and advice us on what we can do at home as “homework”. Highly recommend him.

Details: Young child (18 months - 5 years old) • No experience • Comfortable in water • Improve swimming technique • Become more comfortable in water • No, I would like the pro to suggest a pool • 45 minutes • At the pro’s location • My home, venue, etc.

I asked Coach Tony to give private lessons for my daughter to prepare for an upcoming swim meet. He is an excellent swim coach with loads of experience. My daughter ended up dropping time and qualified for few events in the Junior Olympic. Most importantly, he is professional, patient, and caring. My daughter left the lessons wanting to practice things he told her to focus on.

I took a 60 min private lesson from Tony to learn how to do proper "underwaters". I'm 63yo, a competitive swimmer with US Masters Swimming, and had never learned to do the "underwaters" (swimmings "5th stroke") as they didn't exist when I learned the 4 competitive swimming strokes. I've seen Tony swim and knew he's very good at the underwaters (along with a very good swimmer period). Tony started by watching me swim a warm-up, doing 12 to 16 lengths, so that he could watch my turns and then go from there. He was able to give me several different observations and explanations on what needed changed as well as what to do in order to work into a good underwater (off the walls)... as well as what to do approaching the wall to better set up for the underwaters. Tony got in the water to have me watch so that I had a live visual demonstration. I left feeling that I can easily incorporate these changes, with practice, definitely not something you can do in a day, into my workout routine and build up to having a good "5th stroke"...plus a better/ stronger and faster turn. We went longer than 60 mins (about 10 mins over) and never felt like Tony was a clock watcher. As well he gave me tips on my freestyle stroke, which is what I did in warm-up, and in particular my kick which would help my overall swimming PLUS build a better, more efficient, and effective turn to set me up for a strong underwater. Tony was also very good about getting back with me in a timely manner when I had reached out to him to set a lesson up.

My daughter received private lessons from Coach to help with specific stroke issues. Within 45 minutes she already was exhibiting meaningful improvement. She emerged from the pool with a smile and told me he not only explained the changes that would help her, but showing her as well. His communication style and knowledge if body mechanics worked really well for her. I especially like how he has incorporated dry land training to help support muscle development in order to reduce injury risk. She complains a lot less about shoulder and knee pain. Her times improved after one lesson and are still dropping as they continue to work together. Worth every penny! I hope Falcon Warriors grows into a full time swim team!
