Headshots for working actors need to be crafted much differently than a regular photograph. Many photographers do not know that difference because they have never been an actor themselves or worked in show business.
I have been a working actor, PLUS I have been trained as a headshot photographer.
I know what it takes to make an actor's headshot stand out so that they will book more auditions.
I love working with actors and getting them in front of my camera and watching them nail a look that will command the attention of casting directors and agents. It's very exciting for both of us when we know we've nailed it!

My company gave me less than a week's notice to get a headshot done so I went on a thumbtack quest to find someone. Screen and Stage Headshots was one of five responses, and Vivian's friendly down-to-earth response hooked me. We started e-mailing back and forth, and by the time I went to her studio, I felt very comfortable. She provided great advice before the shoot, and during the session, she made it fun and so much less stressful. We could view the photos instantly, and by the time I got home, she had posted her preferences and then I just had to narrow it down to a few. Thank you Vivian for transforming a potentially very stressful situation into something so fun, and creating headshots for me that I am really happy with and can't wait to submit.

Smoke and pet free. Understanding of my apprehension about taking photos. Gave good coaching and feedback. I could see my shots immediately. Vivian took a few extra shots because I was slow to warm up to the camera. Highly recommend.

Vivian is an amazing photographer, charming and professional, she works quickly and efficiently and gets outstanding results. In addition, once she takes the images she processes them almost immediately. Within a few days I had my new image on my digital sites and my Facebook friends are still sending me admiring messages about the quality of the work.

I have worked with Vivian both as a coworker, and also as her subject for photographs. She is lovely, vivacious, spirited, kind AND she gives very good, specific direction. Working with her is fun and a total breeze. I look forward to time spent with her, regardless of the situation.
