Deborah is quite simply wonderful! She's kind, understanding, intuitive, creative and down to earth... in the chaos, she is the calm. Coming into a strangers home and organizing their stuff is not as easy at is sounds. There's a lot of emotion attached, a lot of shame, guilt, embarrassment... In my case, it was a lot of the latter. I was overwhelmed with my growing clutter, and with my present circumstance I felt like I had lost complete control of my own space. I couldn't even begin to think through how I was going to go about organizing and re-arranging. In comes Deborah, who has this delicate quality about her: she takes charge, but isn't intrusive; she's respectful and nonjudgemental. I truly appreciated those qualities. She came in, took it all in, within a few minutes, she instinctively knew what needed to be done. She worked swiftly, communicated her thoughts and ideas clearly, and was just a joy to work with... Deborah, Be Decluttered is EXCELLENT!!!! With her knowledge, wisdom, compassion, expertise, I was able to declutter my home. It's a very freeing feeling. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A complementary phone assessment is included. I offer numerous packages (above and beyond the regular 1 day session), which are discounted depending on how many hours are pre-booked. I do not charge for travel time. I will take purged items to various charities and donation centers--free of charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule an in-home or phone meeting to assess your ultimate goal and needs and then set up a schedule to work within your budgetary and time constraints.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended various workshops and do constant research on the field. I have an analytical mind with advanced spatial abilities so I am a natural.
