I am so happy I chose Bar for the obedience training of our 3 year old sheepadoodle. Koko was reactive to dogs and strangers by barking and pulling on the leash. Walking was quite the challenge. Koko completed the board and train program. Bar taught Koko to focus and follow commands. I visited Koko during the boarding and Bar provided the needed guidance for me to continue the behaviors once home. Koko is now a pleasure to walk. She is focused on me and my commands. Bar has a gentle but firm method of training. Bar is quick to respond to communications. Bar explained what I needed to do to be successful and it worked!!

Bar K9 Dog Training was the best decision we have made for our dog, Ludo. Ludo is a very loving and energetic dog, and had some difficult habits of excitably barking, jumping, and waking us in the wee hours of the morning. He was very territorial of me, and would get frustrated when embracing my partner or my other dog. Bar immediately recognized his sensitive nature, and was very calm in his approach. I really appreciated that Bar made sure to involve us so much on the training. He spend as much time as we needed to to help me and my partner understand our part in correcting his behavioral challenges. Upon arriving for our first training session, our dog looked the healthiest he had been after spending three weeks in Bar’s care. His progress was night and day…We were amazed when Bar threw treats in front of him and he did not rush to eat them, but waited patiently for Bar’s command (he was the smallest of his litter and had been very anxious/eager around food in the past). We are currently expecting a baby, and it was very important for us to correct some of these behaviors before their arrival. We can now rest assured that Ludo has an amazing foundation of training for us to work with - and we can actually get some sleep in the morning, all thanks to Bar! Ludo and Bar developed a very special relationship over his time there. I am so happy my dog was in his care, and grateful that he is available to us moving forward.

I had adopted a rescue (9mo old) Dutch Brindle Shepherd from the shelter. Jr needed to learn basic training, i.e. Potty training, Sit, down, heel and place. Jr came from a shelter as a surrender. He was completely discombobulated. He was anxious, stressed, lost with not direction and scared of the outside world. This had me concerned about his behaviorisms as I didn't know what kind of home he was surrended from and why. I reached out to Bar. He is an amazing young man with alot of knowledge on what direction Jr needed for his own well-being. He listened to my concerns and my needs for Jr. I wanted Jr to be comfortable and confident within himself but also at the same time compliant to my needs as well. Bar accomplished this for me in no time. He boarded and trained Jr at his establishment for considerably amount of time, adjusting to Jrs needs as well as mine. In addition, Bar has made accomodations for me at the spare of a moments notice for boadering as well as training. I give Bar hands down 5stars for his services. He always gone above and beyond for any requests that I would throw at him to give me 100% customer satisfaction. Bar is very professional and experienced and these are just some if the reasons I chose him to help my Jr. And I'm glad I did. Thank you Bar, I am eternally grateful for all your help.
