Beginning a career in construction and home inspection in 1994, Jeremy has over 17 years of construction experience. Jeremy was employed by a major commercial and residential home builder, which is known for completing projects such as, The English Canal and John Wayne Airport. After completing over 10 years of service at Taylor Woodrow Homes, managing the quality of construction, and completing thousands of inspections in hundreds of homes, throughout those years, Jeremy Johnson formed CRI Home Inspection Services, LLC. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We initially will schedule an inspection time and day, meet at the home we are inspecting, we then will try to get the home inspection report to our client within the next 48
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience, certifications in several construction sciences, home inspection, mold inspection, radon inspection, former licensed contractor, Licensed HUD Inspector, former construction superintendent, AND A former construction manager for LAUSD. I've completed over 4000 Inspections over the last 9 years.

Our fees start at 300 and are based off of size, land, age, and amenities the property includes.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Prior to opening the company in 2007 I was a construction manager for a major home builder for over 11 years. When the market crashed in 2007, I was forced to seek a new oppurtunity within the same field I love, building.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with primarily buyers, sellers, banks, HUD, investors, and are referred by all agents that are genuinely looking out for their clients best interests.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I perform approximately 40 Inspections a month and none is of greater importance than the other.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Verification of qualifications, reviews, and credintials. Also when reviews customer reviews for a home inspector, remember that a Real Estate Professional is not a Home Inspectors Client, the buyer is. A inspection company with Realtor Reviews rather than client reviews should leave you asking who the inspector really cares about.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Are the utilities turned on to the home we are going to inspect? Do I have a babysitter for the inspection appointment to ensure my full attention is available to the home inspector? What year was the home I'm having inspected built in? How big is the home I'm having inspected? How am I providing access to the home for the inspection, What do hope to get from the inspection.
