I'm a lifelong swimmer with a competitive background, a certified lifeguard, and CPR certified — swimming has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I genuinely love helping someone go from anxious in the water to confident in it.
Lessons are always one-on-one or small group, never a crowded class where your kid (or you) gets 5 minutes of actual attention. Private lessons are priced per session, with discounted rates for multi-lesson packages. I offer a sibling/family discount for multiple kids booking together.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick conversation about the swimmer's comfort level and goals — total beginner, building confidence, or refining strokes. For kids, I also ask about any past water experiences so I can plan the first lesson appropriately. Lessons are 45 minutes, one-on-one. I track progress lesson to lesson so parents (or adult students) always know what's next.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a lifelong swimmer with a competitive swimming background through middle school, and I hold current Lifeguard and CPR certifications. I'm continuing to build my instruction credentials, including USMS and USA Swimming Coach Certification.
