Introduction: We do party cooking classes and private culinary instruction.
Classes are for children to adults, ages 6 and up. The usual class includes a 4-item menu; participants are given instructions through demo and on one-on-one basis, as needed. All classes are hands-on, and include a demo, student participation, and time to sit down and enjoy the fruits of our labor.
I am a certified IACP (CCP) member, and hold a Master's of Science degree in Nutrition Education. I have taught at a public school and at private cooking schools for over 25 years.

We went to Sylvia to learn how to cook tomato bread, lemon chicken and cannolis. She was very informative and made the recipes very approachable.
In our 2 hour visit, we were able to finish and 3 course meal and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Hired Sylvia Rieman to give my grandson an introductory cooking lesson. He was thrilled and so was I (picked up a few tips also). Her background is exemplary. Her teaching skills polished. Her friendly manner and spot on professionalism leave nothing but a big smile and great taste! Plan on using her skills again.☆☆☆☆☆
