Introduction

I'm very committed unlike many in this type of business, it is my full-time job. I work 7 days a week. Unlike others in my business, I accept last minute calls for my services. But mostly I have alot of pride and I am not in it just for the money. I love animals, and I live for the compliments from various clients who are amazed how calm and happy their pets are when they return home. For instance, a recent client had bought stairs to their bed that their toy poodle "Jack" would never use, until they returned home just after I took care of Jack, and couldn't believe their eyes, when jack pranced up the stairs to the couch! I'm responsible and actually show up as promised! The animals and owners I get to meet. Pride when customers are very happy. I love to support families who can go on vacation without worrying that their pet/s will be well taken care of! Also, it's of my own making!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, it's not complicated. That's not my personality. Generally, I charge a flat amount for overnight stays per night, and a separate charge for daily visits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I belong to PSI (Pet Sitters International). I receive their monthly magazine that keeps you up to date.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I didn't want to stay longer than 20 years at the studios and I knew I'd need another full time job after that 20 years was up. I wanted my own business where I am the boss!
