We are lucky to have Luiza as my daughter’s piano instructor. She is very nice and full of compassion, my daughter love to have class with her and actively practice piano spontaneously after class!

We auditioned several piano teachers to find the right fit for our 6 year old son and let me tell you it wasn't even close. Not only does Luiza have a fun and natural way of communicating with kids but her teaching methodology is fantastic! Structured but not boring, challenging but not discouraging. Our son is suddenly obsessed with the piano and his love of music can definitely be attributed to the overwhelmingly positive experience he has had with Luiza.

Ms. Luiza has been an amazing piano teacher to our two daughters (now 14 and 10). She has fostered in them a love for music and piano, and they look forward to their lessons with Ms. Luiza every week. Ms. Luiza transitioned to virtual lessons seamlessly when the shutdown began, and has continued to host recitals that our extended family across the country can now attend. Ms. Luiza is also flexible with scheduling, and is happy to tailor music selections to the type of music that our daughters like. We recommend Ms. Luiza wholeheartedly!

2 of my 3 kids have been taking lessons from Luiza for about 4 years. The kids love bringing to her music that they want to learn and she takes the time to adjust the music to their level. There are times that Luiza suggest music that would challenge them too. Luiza is great with kids and through her, the piano skills of my kids have vastly improved. My favorite evenings now are when my kids play the piano together, making up music that sounds wonderful.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First class is a free trial of 35 or 50 minutes.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we set up a day and time for a free trial class. During the class, we get to know each other and see how we work together. I assess the student's experience and goals. Then, I teach them something according to their level so they get a feeling for my teaching style and what to expect. If all goes well, we schedule a regular weekly time and I inform the parent which book to purchase before our next class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started private piano with Classically trained professional Russian teachers from the age of 8, and started teaching my first student when I was 16. I continued lessons with several renowned pianist into my 20s. Teaching piano is a family business, as my mother is the head of her own piano studio and my mentor.
