My Sundance Spa started leaking due to a cracked plastic fitting on the pump. I normally maintain the spa myself and after draining and purchasing the parts, I injured my back and simply could not complete the job. I reached out on Thumbtack and Eric said he would do it at a reasonable price. We exchanged a couple of messages, coordinated a time, and Eric arrived right on time prepared to do the work. He installed the new fitting and tubing, finished vacuuming out the remaining water, cleaned the interior and filter cartridge and waited until it was refilled to be sure there were no further leaks.
He is a local guy, fellow NPHS alum and was extremely professional, friendly and thorough. I would highly recommend him and will be using him again should the need arise!

Eric did an awesome job. We had a valve that had to be replaced, and it’s an older pool set up. He was able to figure out a replacement part and get it replaced in a timely manner. He also gave some great advice on future upgrades. I would definitely recommend him!

Eric saved my pool! We had a pretty rough pool maintenance person who basically ignored me. The pool was filled with algae, the filter hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, the vacuum motor was shot. My pool was not happy. Eric came along and fixed it right up and he is a licensed contractor so he was able to replace my motor. Very nice and friendly. And he is very reasonable!

I had a nightmare in my pool. Prior to Eric i had three other pool people come by and check the condition of my pool and weren't able to fix it, just made spend money on things they thought were the problem: The crawler hasn't been running for over a year; after SCE installed a variable pump and the cpny that SCE hired to do the replacement left the pool with no suction at all and refused to even call me back and even took my old pump--which working perfectly--without even asking me if they could take it; and the setting for my spa were all screwed up from other pool guys messing with it.
Eric came and started working telling me he could fix it and that if he didn't get it going right he wouldn't charge me anything. Well, after hour-and-a-half he had everything running. He even fixed my crawler, he took it apart, and fixed it but one of legs wasn't running so he went to his truck and took a spare part from an old unit, replaced my defective part and now is working perfectly. The next day I called him back to re-explain something to me and in 15 minutes he was at my door and took the time to explain to me again these variable pump settings. What can I say? This guy knows his stuff and is not expensive at all. A God sent! From now on he's my pool guy.

The pool industry offers seminars on all types of subjects. I always learn something by attending these seminars. Every year new products come on the market, I a need to be aware of what benefits they offer my clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy working outdoors, and an close by my neighborhood in case there might be a problem with my son. As a single father, my son is my first priority.
