Great experience with HOTCO – The Hot WaterHeater Company. They responded to my inquiry quickly and provided a very competitive quote. Charles at HotCo made several valiant attempts to repair my Rinaii tankless waterheater. Unfortunately, it was not installed properly from the beginning , and the damage had been done. I wish I had known about HotCo when I purchased the Rinaii.I agreed to replace it with a Navien.Both Jen, the owner, and Charles have been very helpful through this process. I appreciate their expertise and professionalism, as well as their support during a frustrating time.Highly recommend HotCo for their excellent customer service, I wouldnt consider anyone else for waterheater issues. A strong supporter of family owned businesses especially veteran owned, directed me to HOTCO. Jen was extremely helpful answering my questions and gave me multiple options for my failed waterheater. No pressure, no insistence to replace it unlike other businesses I had called before them.True to their testament on customer service and appointment timeliness, the technician Soren came right at the scheduled time. Without missing a beat and getting soaked by the heavy thunderstorm rain with lightning conditions, Soren continued to work diligently to complete the new installation and remove the old failed heater. Truly admirable and great customer orientation!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a same day next day discount. We discount veterans seniors and the like. We have a lifetime labor warranty, which saves a ton of money if the unit has problems however we prefer to install Bradford White water heaters for tanks and they rarely fail.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer will just text a picture of their existing water heater and we can diagnose over the phone in minutes. This saves the client time and money as it’s all done for free. If the client approves the quote, we often can do the work the same day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We’ve been in the industry for over 20 years and our founder was known as the number one tankless Technician in California. Sadly, he passed away from acute leukemia. His son grew up learning from him and is a phenomenal human being and gifted just like he was. We also have a team of three other technicians who are all level three certified through Navien and have done extensive training with other manufacturers.
