- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first session together I will do a great deal of observation. I will begin by going over your medical history so that I am well informed on where your at. I will also ask you to discuss your goals for training. I will guide you through a number of simple movements and exercises, in pilates what we call "fundamentals." I will use this as an opportunity to observe how connected you are to your body, how injury or alignment issues are affecting your movement, and assess your starting point. I will then design a comprehensive plan for training that will address your needs and goals as well as challenge you. Our training will include sessions together, but also homework you will do on your own to help you progress in your training.
