Introduction: I do both criminal law and selected civil law, which includes divorce, elder law, real estate matters of various sorts, personal injury, auto accidents, and slip and falls. There isn't much in the field of law that I haven't undertaken at one time or another (air traffic controllers in 1984, military tanks running over cars, jet ski accidents at the Colorado River, and numerous out-of-state trials in Nevada, Utah and Kansas.) I have developed a very keen sense of what's right, and police people often are not. In fact, I've brought actions against a dozen or so police officers who were not being reasonable, using excessive force and/or falsely arresting my clients. The bottom line is that I have experience from various backgrounds. This, in my opinion, is why my clients do as well as they do, along with my help, of course. There isn't a matter too complex or too simple that I won't look at and evaluate for a client. I am motivated for my clients to do well. It pleases me when they do. It's a very satisfying experience. I am aggressive in court if that is necessary, but I am still a gentleman while doing so. I advocate my client's best interests at all times, all the while keeping an eye on the practical side of things. I am thourough to a fault when it comes to matters relating to my clients. Lastly, I have been an attorney for over 35 years, and I have been a Superior Court Temporary Judge on many occasions over the past 30 years. Furthermore, I have attended many classes and seminars, far in excess of what is required of attorneys to comply with their continuing education requirements. I like to remain abreast of the law in all my practice areas, so as to be more informed and effective for my clients. I have also lectured and taught classes on various legal issue areas, and I have testified as an expert witness on several occassions. On the monetary side of things, I work with my clients. I try to solve problems, not create them, and that includes working with my clients' regarding their ability to pay for my services.
