Dr. Ty T.
I came to Oliver at Verbal Ninja ahead of a big speech that had career and even life changing potential. I was speaking to a large group of fellow doctors, several of whom were what you might call “celebrity doctors.” Frankly, I wanted to upstage them. I myself have an acting background but have always had a lot of stage fright for public speaking. I worked with Oliver over the month leading up to the big event. I knew what I wanted to say, just not quite how to say it. He made my words sound like nothing I’ve ever heard before—yes, that good. Yet it still sounded like me…I felt comfortable and spontaneous. He sort of gave me the voice that I always thought I had inside, if that makes any sense. He also coached my delivery, voice, gestures, movement, eye contact, etc. etc. His tricks to conquer stage fright—especially the psychological aspect—are brilliant. The result? I think I killed it that night. Even my billionaire friend who came to see me said I spoke better than a lot of people he sees that speak on a regular basis. Even the owner of the company had this to say: “Thanks for everything, the event was great and we were very happy that you gave that speech, it was amazing! Not only the way you presented (like an actor) but also the content was very emotional, some tears were shed from Melissa.“ People came up to me afterwards and shared how I changed their view on aesthetics and really motivated them. All the “famous doctors” who spoke alongside me on the panel were super impressed as well. In short, Oliver came to me highly recommended. He leaves me even more highly recommended. If the stakes are high, he’s the guy.Jan 16, 2018

I hired Oliver to write marketing collateral, press releases, and public relations material for my start-up. His abilities and work product eclipse that of any large ad marketing firm. He's the best, period.Feb 5, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We cost more than others and don't pretend otherwise. We cost more because we are better. Much better. The written and creative work product put out by others is overwhelmingly and consistently awful. It's unoriginal, it's trite, it's forgettable, it's often ungrammatical, and it's usually regrettable. Go ahead, see for yourself. Everything we put out is original, fresh, clever, memorable, meaningful, and impactful.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It's quite simple. First we speak about your message, no matter how vague your initial notion. Then, we do the rest! The process of building and perfecting your message can be unilateral and hands-off or intimately collaborative; it's up to you. Whatever the path, the outcome will exceed your expectations. We guarantee it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Education: Doctor of Law, Cornell Law School (Editor, Cornell Law Review; Cum Laude; 5x CALI winner for top ranked student in class.) Master of International Law, Cornell Law School (Cum Laude) Bachelor of Arts, UCLA (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa Communications Major Valedictorian) Background: I am an Ivy League lawyer, UCLA Communications major valedictorian, public speaker, and published author whose writing background includes a book deal with Grove Atlantic, articles published in the Harvard International Journal of Press-Politics, and awards from the Peterson Waingrow Publishing Award, to the CBS Media Scholar Grant, to the Walter Winchell Writing Award. I was a formally trained and agency-represented child stage and screen actor with South Coast Repertory and Children's Talent Guild. I was regional champion in various speech and debate competitions throughout high school and college. I was chosen to deliver both the Estancia High School and UCLA graduation speeches. And I earned a reputation as one of the very best written and oral advocates at the top litigation law firm in the country, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Since then I've had a fantastic, impactful time communicating on various speaking circuits and taking down the house with original stories and a scientific system that absolutely changes lives,
