My roommate and I contacted Tammy to help us in a small claims rental dispute. We sent everything we thought would help our case via email to her and she prepared a 50+ pg. Trial Notebook on top of doing all of the filing, getting our court date set, finding the process server, etc. There are always of course additional fees with extra services but we didn't pay much more over the original quoted price and we ended up getting more money back than we expected because of her recommendation. Nothing could have made our first small claims case easier than just being able to hand everything over to someone else and wait for the court date.

I recently completed a business contract project with Tammy and I am very pleased with the results! As a new start-up business owner, my budget is very restrictive and working with a Contracts Lawyer was not an option at this time. Thank goodness for Thumbtack and Tammy Malfitano. I have very competitive rates, in some exceptional cases I can be a little flexible with my rates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact, active listening to their requirements and gathering information on an individual basis for that case, discussing the options available to the cients, getting their final decisions on the work that is necessary for their case, and finally, compiling information and completing the assignment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Paralegal Certification from the State of California. This is obtained by completing 28 units in Paralegal Studies and Legal Secretarial courses in an approved program. I completed 32 units of coursework in Paralegal Studies, Legal Assisting and Legal Secretarial classes at Los Angeles Mission College. I graduated with honors in 2013.
