I love this axiom, "By your students you'll be taught". I have worked with this amazing girl for many years: She was my first piano student! At the close of her senior year, we filled a nearby University Hall for her Senior Recital. Jessica is kind, versatile and energetic; timely and cares about those for whom she works.

I hired Jessica to assist me with cleaning out my sister's apartment after my sister died. My sister was a hoarder. I know there were some family heirlooms under all that stuff, but I needed someone to tell me what to keep and what not. Jessica was that person. She helped me get through an overwhelming process with ease and grace. She knew what was worth selling at a garage sale, or at various online sites and what was not. She did not judge the hoarding as other people had. She worked so well with everyone involved. She is a joy to work with and I will hire her any time I need her. I can't wait to work with her on an estate garage sale!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Of course it depends on the job. My fee is hourly. If the job is short term I will view and assess the job, suggest the number of hours necessary to complete the task, and over what period of time the hours could be scheduled. For jobs requiring packing, garage sales, and/or shipping, supply charges may apply. Several clients just book a set number of hours each week and determine the tasks to be conquered on that day.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When helping someone in their home it is important to understand what is important to them If we are "cleaning out" it is especially critical that important memories are preserved. Trust is an important component to the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I certainly love to read up on the latest organizational tools and trends.
