Hello there, fellow performers! My name is Jason Mimms, and I'm thrilled to be your Hollywood acting coach. I've been a working actor in the entertainment industry since 2008, and during that time, I've had the privilege of performing on stage, in film, and on television.
One of my greatest strengths as an actor is my versatility. I have a natural ability to switch between comedic and dramatic roles with ease, and I'm equally comfortable with improvisation. Whether you need to make your audience laugh or bring them to tears, I'm here to help you master the craft.
When it comes to comedy, I believe that timing is everything. I'll teach you how to find the rhythm of a scene and deliver your lines with precision and confidence. In drama, I'll help you dig deep into your character's emotions and bring their inner turmoil to the surface. And when it comes to improvisation, I'll show you how to think on your feet and create spontaneous moments that will leave your audience in awe.
But above all, my goal as your acting coach is to help you develop your own unique voice as an actor. I believe that every performer has something special to offer, and my job is to help you unlock that potential and bring it to the stage or screen. I have had the pleasure of working with Jason for several years now, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best investments I've made in my acting career. From the very first session back in 2019, it was clear that he was not only a TALENTED actor but also a GIFTED teacher. Throughout our sessions, Jason encouraged me to dig deep, he provided valuable feedback and insights that helped me to deepen my understanding of character development and scene work. I learned so much during our session. I didn't know what to expect going into it but I left feeling so much better about the direction I know I needed to take with my auditions while also learning a lot about myself and the types of roles were best for me.
